Mama Juanita – a portrait of strength and expectation
Mama Juanita was painted in the Colombian colors while I was expecting my daughter. Her father has Colombian origins, and the work was created during a time full of anticipation. The woman carries a basket of apples – as an image of carrying something on. A symbol of strength, origin, and new beginnings.
